The Boy Who Cried Wolver

After taking their time to refine what can now be called the style of Wolver, this rock quartet from Helsinki, Finland, finally debuts with this breath-takingly intense album!

Recorded and produced by the band itself, the album brings forth Wolver's vision of what rock music for the next decade should sound like. Dynamic and catchy yet not over-polished, 'The Boy Who Cried Wolver' delivers a punchy and warm sound that breathes. Enjoy!

This album is rated DR10, for more info please visit http://www.dynamicrange.de

Wolver

Lots of water has flown since this Helsinki-based quartet hit the high note for the first time. The present line-up was found in 2005 after years of searching. Band's beating heart is an ambitious singer/songwriter and a guitar player who likes himself to be called T-Bird.

When the 20th century was drawing to it's end, Markus joined T-Bird and filled the drummer spot of the crew. Yet the band's beat was lacking of lower frequencies. Fortunately, the time was right and so Sauli hopped onboard to bring the band's rhythmic foundation to proper levels of solidity. "But three quarters just ain't enough!!" figured this newly established group. So, the trio sent out a message including the words "a guitarist missing" and hoped someone right-minded would notice it. And Marko did.

These four fellows and their band don't give too much thoughts for genre orientation. Their biggest influence is music itself, so it is no wonder that their musical output sounds soulful and diverse. To do what one desires, this ideology suits Wolver well. Now these detuned minds behind the band are more than focused to bringing forth the message of Wolver, loud and clear.
